Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.31% -Breaking

Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

In Tel Aviv at closing, the index rose 1.31% and reached a new high.

They were the top performers at the session Energix (TASE): traded at 1307 at close by a gain of 4.64%, or 58 points. Nova (TASE 🙂 gained 3.9% or 1490 Points to trade at 41890. Tower Semiconductor Ltd. (TASE 🙂 was up 3.4% or 420 Points to 11950.

They were also the session’s worst performers Maytronics (TASE): The close was marked by a drop of 2.16%, or 175 points. It traded at 7914. Electra Ltd (TASE) fell 0.42%, or 900 point to close at 211000. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd was down 0.16 or 0.8 to 486.0.

Stocks that are rising outnumbered those in decline on Tel Aviv Stock Exchange were 300 to 209 while 21 was unchanged.

The February delivery of crude oil was 1.08 percent higher at $72.20 per barrel, or 1.52%. Brent oil rose 0.86 or 1.16% to $74.82 per barrel in commodities trading. The February Gold Futures contract dropped 0.56% to $1798.65 an ounce.

USD/ILS increased 0.10%, reaching 3.1644, while EUR/ILS climbed 0.48% to reach 3.5838.

US Dollar Index Futures were down 0.4% at 96.100.
