NEW YORK (Reuters] – Christmas lights are on in a New York City neighborhood, drawing crowds of people to the annual show. However, Omicron puts a damper upon celebrations.

Brooklyn’s Dyker Heights is known for its colorful displays featuring snowmen, nutcrackers. candy canes.

Some visitors found the experience to be just the thing they needed.

Virginie Issautier from France said, “It was very important to me to experience Christmas spirit.” It’s the most beautiful thing in the world, and it is also the easiest way to view it. After all the years and months of COVID disease, there is a renewed hope that you can see all of these lights.

Tourists from other tropical locations were unaffected by the absence of snow.

Residents claim that Dyker Heights’s seasonal lights took flight in the wake of Sept. 11, 2001 attacks and continued to shine even during the 2020 pandemic. Along with Rockefeller Center, Times Square and Times Square, the light show is a popular stop on tour buses.
