OpenSea rolls out new feature that allows users to connect their Twitter accounts to the platform By BTC Peers

Chances are that you’ve probably questioned the logic behind paying hundreds of thousands for a pixelated image that can be downloaded with a simple right-click. However, you’d have to agree that non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are arguably the next big thing. Digital artist Beeple sold his NFT collection to Adidas for $69 Million in March. Nike (NYSE:), Everyone, even CryptoPunks wannabes wants in on all the action.

Many fake NFTs have been created because of the potential for huge profits from potential NFT sales. In August alone, an individual claiming to be Banksy paid more than $300,000. The seller was phony, however the buyer had a lucky escape when the seller immediately refunded the purchaser.

OpenSea, a leading NFT marketplace has introduced a feature that allows buyers to link their collection pages to their Twitter accounts (NYSE:). Twitter announced that the firm had added this feature.

OpenSea users will be able to connect their Twitter account and OpenSea collections so they know where to find you. To get started, go to the ‘edit’ section of your collection and then scroll down to “Social Connections”.

This is not an exact way of stopping impersonators from selling OpenSea products, but it does allow buyers to confirm the identity.
