Popular Brands Nike, Adidas and Pepsi Realise Over $220 Million in Joint NFT Trading Volume By BTC Peers

Pepsi and Adidas are the top brands in Nike, Adidas, and NFT trading volume.

Two main strategies have been used by brands and companies to enter the NFT space: they either create branded collections from scratch or acquire existing NFT brands. Regardless of which approach is chosen, there are two main options: either launch branded collections or purchase existing NFT brands. This shows that many popular brands are becoming more aware of the NFT benefits and value and that they are able to take advantage of them in the near future.

Nike’s RTFKT collection, known as the CloneX, was able to secure top positions within the DappRadar NFT Rankings within the last seven days. CloneX Mintvials and CloneX Mintvials combined, CloneX achieved the largest share of NFT trading volume. It also recorded several high-end sales. CloneX Mintvials has become one the most sought-after collections in the past few weeks.

That is why, on the 14th December, a well-known sports brand was launched Nike (NYSE:) Announced the acquisition by RTFKT of CloneX’s design-and-fashion company, CloneX. The internet was abuzz with this announcement.

This acquisition helped establish Nike’s position within the NFT space, as CloneX steadily rose to become one of the most sought-after NFT avatar projects. Over $131 Million in trading volume has been raised by the Takashi Murakami collection. This collection attracted more than 4,000 traders. The current average selling price is $30.960.

Adidas (OTC), on the other side, launched 30,000 NFT along with PUNKS Comics NFT collection, Bored Apes Yacht Club, and Gmoney, a NFT collector, in collaboration avec the Bored Apes Yacht Club. This collection raised over $44million in trading volume and attracted around 17.000 traders. Pepsi’s Mic Drop has generated more than $6 million in trading volume, and attracted around 1800 traders since its debut on December 14th.
