SBI CEO says worth pursuing option to take Shinsei private to return public funds -Breaking

TOKYO (Reuters), SBI Holdings Inc Chief Executive Yoshitaka KITAO stated on Wednesday that Shinsei Bank Ltd could be privatized to return 350 billion yen in public funds.

Kitao’s comment was made after Shinsei Bank completed an offer to tender for it. This raised its stake at the lender of mid-size size from 20% to 47.77%.
