AMD amends agreement with GlobalFoundries to buy $2.1 billion worth wafers -Breaking

(Reuters] – Chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices, (NASDAQ:), has modified its agreement with GlobalFoundries for the acquisition of approximately $2.1 Billion worth wafers. The deal will be in effect from 2022 to 2025 according to a regulatory filing.

According to May filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, AMD previously agreed to purchase chips worth $1.6 billion between 2022 and 20,24.
