CDC cuts quarantine time to 7 days for healthcare workers amid Omicron surge -Breaking

(Reuters] Healthcare workers that test positive for COVID-19, but who are not asymptomatic, can resume work after seven days, providing they have a negative result, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

This new guidance decreases quarantine time by reducing it from 10 days to the previously recommended 10.

The CDC said its guidance was in preparation for the anticipated increase in Omicron cases.
