Monkey Kingdom’s non-fungible token (NFT), project, was announced on Tuesday by Twitter (NYSE.) that hackers had stolen $1.3million from crypto funds of the community via a Discord security breach.
Its developers claim that the first hack occurred in the case of Grape, which is a common solution to verify users on Solana. The exploit was then used by hackers to gain control of an administrative account. They posted a link in Monkey Kingdom Discord’s announcement channel. People who clicked the link thought they’d receive NFTs but were actually robbed of their SOL tokens.
