Opera (NASDAQ:), an Internet browser that supports Web 3.0 applications and has a crypto wallet built in, announced on Wednesday an integration with Polygon.MATIC). This integration is expected to be live by the end of the first quarter 2022. It will open Polygon’s ecosystem first to Opera’s more than 80 million Android users, and then to all other platforms. Polygon can be considered a layer 2.ETHThis scaling solution is designed to lower gas costs and speed up transaction times.

Opera users who integrate will have access to Polygon decentralized application, or DApps like Sushiswap Curve and Aave. They can also play blockchain games, and use nonfungible tokens platforms, such Decentraland OpenSea, TheSandbox, and Decentraland.
