Jurors in Elizabeth Holmes trial exit court Thursday with no verdict

SAN JOSE, Calif. — The 12 jurors presiding over Elizabeth Holmes’ criminal trial left the San Jose courthouse early on Thursday afternoon, and won’t return until Monday morning.

After deliberating for 22 hours, the jury is still waiting to reach a decision on whether to issue a verdict. Instead of using the elevators visible from reporters and others, they made a sneaky back entrance.

Holmes, 37, has been charged with nine counts each of wire fraud as well as two counts of conspiring to commit wirefraud.
