U.S. equity funds enjoy big inflows on easing Omicron worries -Breaking

(Reuters] – U.S. Equity funds experienced large inflows during the week ended December 22, in part due to easing worries about the Omicron variant, and strong earnings by big companies like Nike Microtechnology (NASDAQ:)

Refinitiv Lipper data shows that investors purchased $27.55 billion of U.S. equity fund and $22.96 million in money market funds.

Wall Street’s major indexes saw solid gains, with Thursday marking an all-time high.

In contrast to the large outflows of the past week, U.S. bonds funds attracted $1.5billion in the last week.
