As disruptions caused by the Covid-19 omicron variant continued to affect crews and personnel, airlines cancelled over 300 flights Sunday

Airlines have cancelled more than 1,500 flights from the United States since Friday. This disrupted travel plans during busy holidays weekend. United Airlines, Delta Air Lines, American Airlines JetBlue AirwaysAs a cause of the cancellations, they cited the spread omicron.

According to FlightAware, Delta had cancelled 5% or 131 of its flights Sunday while United had cancelled 95 or 4%. JetBlue cancelled ten percent, which equates to 131 flights on Sunday.
