LONDON (Reuters – China’s economy will outperform the United States for the first year in a row, surpassing $100 trillion.

Cebr, an American consultancy, forecast that China will be the largest economy by dollar value in 2030. That prediction is two years after Cebr’s World Economic League Table projection.

Cebr indicated that India appears set to take over France next year, then Britain in 2023 and regain its spot as the sixth-largest economy.

Douglas McWilliams (Cebr deputy chairman) stated, “The most pressing issue in 2020s is how global economies handle inflation which now stands at 6.8% in U.S.”

We hope that with a modest adjustment to our tiller, the non-transitory components will be under control. Otherwise, the world should be ready for a global recession in 2023 and 2024.

Germany could surpass Japan in economic output in 2033, according to this report. Russia may be the Top 10 economy in 2036 while Indonesia is on pace for 9th place by 2034.
