China regulator to suspend some China Eastern, XiamenAir flights due to COVID-19 cases -Breaking

BEIJING (Reuters), -China’s aviation regulator is going to suspend two China Eastern flights connecting New York with Shanghai on January 3, because of COVID-19 allegations, according to the Shanghai government.

Officially reported by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, “The regulator will also suspend two XiamenAir flight from Los Angeles to Xiamen” on the same date.

The website stated that ten passengers on the Dec. 14 China Eastern flight and XiamenAir flight tested positive for COVID-19 at their arrivals in China. This triggered CAAC to halt two other flights.
