TOKYO (Reuters – Japan’s November jobless rate was 2.8%, but the available job market was equal to that for the previous month. Government data from Tuesday showed this.
This seasonally adjusted unemployment rate is 2.7%, versus 2.7% October. A median forecast of 2.7% was also derived from a Reuters poll.
Labour ministry data revealed that the jobs-to-applicants ratio stood at 1.15 in November. This was unchanged from November and less than a Reuters poll of 1.16.
