U.S. administers 503.5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines

(Reuters) – The United States had administered 503,480.667 COVID-19 doses to the nation as of Monday morning and distributed 609 589,955 doses.

It stated that 242,433,620 people have received at least one dose of vaccine, and that 205,196.973 people were completely vaccinated as per the agency’s estimates. ET, Monday

Two-dose vaccinations are included in the CDC tally Moderna (NASDAQ:) and Pfizer/BioNTech, as well as Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:)’s one-shot vaccine.

A further dose of either was given to over 66 million people Pfizer Moderna’s vaccination (NYSE:), since the U.S. authorization of a third dose to people who have compromised immunity systems and are less protected by the existing two-dose vaccines on Aug. 13.
