(Reuters) – The National Defense Authorization Act or NDAA for Fiscal Year 2022 was signed by President Joe Biden. It authorizes defense spending of $770 billion, according to the White House on Monday.

This month’s defense bill was approved by both the Senate and House of Representatives with overwhelming support from Republicans and Democrats. It is the year-end legislation that sets policy for Department of Defense.
