China central bank to roll out low-cost loans for carbon emission cuts by year-end -Breaking

BEIJING (Reuters – China’s central banking is set to issue the first tranche of low-cost loans aimed at carbon emissions reduction to financial institutions in year-end. State-owned Xinhua reported Tuesday that it had interviewed Yi Gang, the governor of China’s central banks.

Yi stated that the average corporate loan interest rate is 5%. This record-breaking low was achieved by Yi.
