RR Donnelley Slips After a Case of Systems Intrusion -Breaking

Investing.com – RR Donnelley & Sons stock traded nearly 1% lower a day after the company disclosed an intrusion into its technical systems.

Company stated that it does not know of any data breaches and engaged a cybersecurity specialist to investigate the matter and assist in the development of appropriate remedial measures.

It stated that it quickly implemented several containment measures, including the shutdown of its servers. The company has initiated an investigation into the matter.

RR Donnelley & Sons Co (NYSE:) said it is in early stages of an investigation and assessment of the security event and cannot determine at this time the extent of the material adverse impact, if any.

It fell to $10.61 after Chatham Asset Management supported it with a $2.3 billion acquisition. At $10.85 per piece, affiliates of the private investor firm will acquire the business communications & marketing services company.

According to the December 14 communiqué, Chatham is anticipated to close during the first half 2022.
