On Wednesday, Dr. Anthony Fauci predicted that the current wave of coronavirus fever pandemics could reach its peak in America by January.

Fauci was President Joe Biden’s top physician advisor when asked about the point at which the current surge of infections, fuelled by the omicron variation, would recede.

Fauci reported that “it certainly peaked quickly in South Africa,” which is where the new, highly transmissible strain was discovered last month. It rose almost vertically, and then turned around quickly.

Fauci said, “I would guess, given the size our country, and the diversity in vaccination versus non-vaccination, that it likely won’t be more than a few weeks,”
