S.Korea Nov factory output jumps, beats expectations -Breaking

SEOUL (Reuters – South Korea’s November factory output far exceeded expectations based on high export orders for chips and cars, according to government data.

The seasonally adjusted industrial production increased last month by 5.1% compared to October. That beats a median 2.5% increase as the car industry soared 11.3%.

Output grew 5.9% annually, surpassing the forecast of 3.2%.
