REUTERS/Loren ElliottHOUSTON (Reuters] – Wednesday’s U.S. National Labor Relations Board impounds ballots which will determine whether United Steelworkers, (USW), continues to represent workers in an Exxon Mobil (NYSE) Oil refinery in South Texas according to an official website maintained by supporters of removal.
The NLRB said that it could seize the ballots as it examines complaints from the USW union claiming Exxon had barred workers at its Beaumont, Texas plant, on May 1, to discredit the union. USW also alleged that Exxon improperly supported its decertification campaign.
