20,000 New Bitcoin ATMs Installed in 2021

There is a growing demand for crypto currencies and so there are more Bitcoin ATMs. Easy currency conversion and basic transactions are made possible by ATMs, making it easy to switch from fiat cash to cryptocurrency.

In 2021 there were almost 20,000 Bitcoin ATMs, an average of 50 per day. The total number of Bitcoin ATMs worldwide is close to 34,000. With the U.S. dominating the market with 30,123 ATMs, Canada has 2,216 ATMs and El Salvador, 205, respectively.

While currently trading below $50,000, Bitcoin’s price has increased more than 65% in the last 12 months.
