Drone attack on U.S. base foiled, Iraqi security sources say -Breaking

BAGHDAD, (Reuters) – Two armed drones were attacked by U.S. troops near Baghdad’s international airport. Iraqi security officials reported that they had been shot down.

This attack occurred as Iran and its allies were commemorating the 2nd anniversary of Qassem Soleimani’s assassination.

Soleimani was shot to death in the drone strike at Baghdad’s airport that Trump ordered.
