This total amount includes the $5.43 million (40.5 Crore rupees) in pending taxes, the interest, and a penalty for not-paying.
Following the detection of GST evasion at $5.43 million, Central GST officials and Central Excise committees (CGST Mumbai Zone) reclaimed the bitcoin exchange funds. GST fraud can be described as creating false invoices and not moving goods between seller or buyer.
