Bank of Jamaica completes first CBDC pilot -Breaking

Bank of Jamaica’s (BoJ), successfully concluded its central bank digital currency (CBDC) and is targeting a national rollout within the first quarter of 2020.
After proceeding with initial CBDC prototype testing in March 2021, Jamaica’s central bank finished an eight-month-long pilot last Friday, the Jamaica Information Service reported.
