BOJ’s Kuroda says global economic uncertainty heightening -Breaking

TOKYO (Reuters), Haruhiko Kunroda, Bank of Japan Governor, said that the uncertainty in the world economy is increasing because of “fairly high U.S.- and European inflation” as well as rising Omicron Coranavirus cases.

Kuroda stated that he expects the global economic recovery to be driven by robust expansion in advanced economies.

The remarks were made at a meeting of the Japanese Bankers Association (the country’s lobby in the banking sector),
