(Reuters) – The demand-side factors that contributed to higher inflation might fade with the reduction in fiscal support to the U.S. during the pandemic, but it’s not known how long it will take for supply side imbalances to be resolved, Neel Kashkari of Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank stated on Tuesday.

When is the supply-side expected to stabilize? What time will workers be able to come back? Kashkari spoke during the virtual Wisconsin Bankers Association event. On the other side of things, it is less certain how long it will take.
