© Reuters Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.40%Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
The added 0.4% was recorded at the Tel Aviv close, putting it at a record high.
These were the best performers of the session Amot Investments Ltd (TASE :), which gained 2.89% or just 76 points to trade as 2705 at close. Meanwhile, Bank Hapoalim (TAS:) Added 2.57% or an additional 84 points to bring the total up to 3350 Electra Ltd (TASE 🙂 was up by 1.74% to 218980, or 3740 point in late trade.
They were also the session’s worst performers Ormat Technologies (TASE) fell by 3.11%, or 770 points, to trade at 23908 at the closing. Nice Ltd (TASE 🙂 lost 2.19% (or 2050 points) to settle at 91400. Meanwhile, Liveperson was down 2.12% (or 230 points) to 10630.
The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpass declining stocks by 271 percent to 236, and ended the day unchanged at 21.
Amot Investments Ltd.’s shares (TASE:), rose to 52 week highs, gaining 2.89% or from 76 to 27505. Bank Hapoalim shares rose to new highs. They were up 2.57%, or 84-to-3350. Liveperson shares (TASE) dropped to their 52-week lowest levels; 2.12%, 230 to 10630.
The February delivery of crude oil was 1.20 percent higher at $77.28 per barrel. Brent oil, which was due for delivery March 1, rose 1.57%, or 1.24, to reach $80.22/barrel. Meanwhile, the February Gold Futures contract rose 8.1%, or 14.65, to trade at $1814.75 per troy ounce.
The USD/ILS declined 0.63%, to 3.0884. EUR/ILS dropped 0.65% to 3.4876.
