WASHINGTON (Reuters] – Thursday marks the first anniversary of the Jan. 6th, 2021 attack by Trump supporters on the U.S. Capitol.

Below are some events scheduled for that day.

9:15 a.m. ET – Biden, Kamala Harris and Vice President Kamala Harris make remarks on the Capitol

10:15 a.m.- Reflection with Capitol staff, House of Representatives. Statement by Speaker Nancy Pelosi

12:00 – Pelosi makes a statement, and then there is a time of silence.

12:15 p.m. “Historic Perspective” – Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden moderates discussion between historians Doris Kearns Goodwin, Jon Meacham in order to “establish & preserve the narrative from Jan. 6.”

2.30 p.m. House Members’ Testimonials, Presided Over by Representative Jason Crow and Pelosi

4.45 PM – A coalition of over 130 pro-democracy, liberal organizations, joined by representatives Pramila Jayapal and Andy Kim, hold vigils at the Capitol and throughout the country as part of a “Jan.6 Day of Remembrance.”

5:15 p.m. Trump cancelled a planned news conference in Palm Beach on Tuesday.

5:05 p.m.- Senator Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Pelosi join a prayer vigil at the Capitol steps

6:15 p.m.- Look Ahead America (a pro-Trump group) holds vigil at the Washington prison where those charged with the riot are being kept.
