The Philippines, a country that’s already been struggling to get back on its feet because of COVID-19, has been hit by a catastrophic super typhoon. On Dec. 16, 2021 the super typhoon struck land and destroyed 334 municipalities and cities.

On Saturday, over 4,000,000 people were either injured or displaced. There had been 407 deaths and 88 missing. As per to the Philippines’ National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.
