(Reuters] – Novak Djokovic was denied entry to Australia on Thursday. The No. 1 tennis player in the world was denied entry to Australia after being initially granted an exemption from COVID-19 vaccinations.

The Australian government issued a letter to the tennis star who was left stranded at Melbourne’s Tullamanrien international airport over the night. He stated that his visa had not been granted and that he would be expelled, according to a source familiar with the matter.

Sources said that the tennis superstar was seeking an injunction against his deportation.
