© Reuters. France stock higher after close of trade, CAC 40 up 0.8%Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
The index was up 0.74% at the Paris close.
They were the top performers at the session Renault SA (PA:) fell 5.31% to 34.00, or 1.72 point. Meanwhile, Carrefour SA (PA,) increased 5.09% or 0.83 point to close at 17.25. Stellantis NV climbed 3.91% (0.69 points) up to 18.40 late trade.
Capgemini SE, (PA:), fell 2.12% to close at 212.13. Veolia Environnement VE SA(PA:), which fell 1.38%, or 0.45 points, to close at 32.19, and Eurofins Scientific SE was down 1.06% (or 1.08 points) to 100.44.
Renault SA (PA :), which rose 5.31% and reached 34.00, Carrefour SA(PA :), which rose 5.09% to reach 17.25, Stellantis NV – PA:), which increased 3.91% to finish at 18.40.
Ovh Groupe SAS, (PA:), was the worst performer. It fell 3.38% to 25,91 in late trading. Neoen SA (PA) lost 2.24% and settled at 35.84. Capgemini SE was at 212.60.
In Paris Stock Exchange, rising stocks outnumbered falling ones by 316 to 25,1 while 94 ended the same.

The February delivery of Gold Futures was up by 0.48%, or 8.65, to $1823.25 per troy ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil rose 1.41 or 1.83% to reach $78.40 per barrel. The March Brent oil contract rose 1.63 or 1.30, to trade at $81.30 per barrel.
EUR/USD rose by 0.51%, to 1.1342, and EUR/GBP gained 0.08%, to 0.8346.
