He was accompanied by his wife and several family members who tested positive for Omicron.
“Friends & family, including myself and my wife Joan, recently caught omicron. Branson, founder of Virgin Group said that his symptoms were mild because everyone was vaccinated.
Branson stressed the importance and value of vaccines by urging all people to have their booster shots.
Omicron is more likely to spread than the previous strains. However, the World Health Organization believes that it causes less severe illnesses.
Recent research has shown that booster shots have been expanded in the United States, Britain, and other countries. While a single course of vaccinations might not prevent Omicron from spreading, there are many studies that show that a booster shot can be beneficial.
