The index fell by 1.62% at the Paris close.
These were the best performers of the session Carrefour SA (PA:) rose 6.9% or 1.09 point to trade at 18.34 by the close. Meanwhile, Societe Generale SA (PA:), added 1.86%, or 0.60 points, to reach 32.85 BNP Paribas Late trade saw SA (PA) rise 1.36%, or 0.86 points, to 64.19
EssilorLuxottica SA, (PA:), was the worst performer of the session. It fell by 4.81% (9.24 points) to close at 182.74. Hermes International SCA(PA:), fell 4.69% (74.00 points) to finish at 1504.50. Capgemini SE, PA: was down 4.37% (9.30 points) and ended at 203.30.
ALD SA rose 8.35%, to 14.28. Carrefour SA rose 6.29%, to settle at 18.34. CGG SA gained 3.15%, to close at 0.7339.

Carrefour SA’s shares rose to their highest level in three years; an increase of 6.29%, or 1.09 to 18.34.
The implied volatility index of CAC 40 options was at 0% to 18.96, a 52-week high.
The February delivery of Gold Futures was lower by 1.88%, or 34.30, to $1790.80 per troy ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil rose 1.49 percent to $79.34 per barrel in February, while March Brent oil contracts rose 1.39 percent or 1.12 for $81.92 per barrel.
EUR/USD declined 0.15% from 1.1296, but EUR/GBP climbed 0.04% to 0.8347.
At 96.243, the US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.06%.
