(Reuters] – An ex-juror in the GhislaineMaxwell case, whose actions prompted a British socialite’s lawyer to ask for a new sexual abuse prosecution, has become a criminal lawyer. He defended an NBA player and an Alec Baldwin stalker as well as a con artist who posed like a wealthy heiress.

On Wednesday night, Todd Spodek from New York filed a appearance for Juror No. 50. Spodek didn’t respond to our request for comment. He also hasn’t disclosed the name of his client in Maxwell.

The jury found Jeffrey Epstein guilty on December 29th of 60 counts for sex trafficking.

Scotty David was the first and middle names of a juror who identified himself as Scotty. He told news media, including Reuters on Tuesday that he suffered from sexual abuse. Maxwell was retorted by Maxwell’s attorney, asking for a fresh trial.

U.S. district judge Alison Nathan may decide whether to grant a fresh trial. The jury’s responses to the questions regarding sexual abuse during jury selection could be crucial.

Spodek’s website states that Spodek has served court papers stating his clients include Anna Sorokin from Germany. She was convicted of scamming New York banks, hotels and other institutions while pretending to be a billionaire heiress.

Genevieve Sabourin was also represented by him. She was sentenced to 210-days in prison in 2013 for harassing and stalking actor Baldwin, according to his website.

Court documents say he also represents Eddie Robinson, a former National Basketball Association player who was charged in October with defrauding the league’s health and welfare benefit plan. Robinson has pleaded no guilty.

Scotty David said to Reuters that he had shared with Reuters his childhood experience of sexual abuse as a child.
