Union offers modified proposal to Exxon in Texas refinery lockout -official -Breaking

HOUSTON, (Reuters) – The United Steelworkers union offered a modified proposal. Exxon Mobil Corp (NYSE:) on Thursday in a bid to end an eight-month lockout of workers at the company’s Beaumont, Texas, refinery, a union official said.

Bryan Gross, USW’s international representative, stated that the two parties met for approximately an hour. This was the first meeting between Exxon and Union since October.
