The quarter’s net income increased to $3.58 Billion, which is $4.13 per share. Comparable to a net loss in the same year of $308million, or 36cs per share
The company’s earnings were $1.68 per diluted share. Refinitiv surveyed analysts to estimate that $1.33 is the average.
Revenues rose to $33.90Billion A year earlier at $31.44 Billion, an increase on the forecast of $32.74 Billion by analysts.
Walgreens stock closed Wednesday up almost 1% at $54.00 Walgreens’ shares rose 31% in the last 12 months to close Wednesday at $54.00, nearly 1% higher than its previous closing price. This brings it to $46.74 trillion.
