Bed Bath & Beyond is closing more stores in 2022. Here’s a list

Bed Bath & BeyondUnderperforming sites are being closed, and there is a lot more planned.
It released a list with 37 locations in 19 states, where liquidation sales had already begun. These shops were expected to close at the end February. This includes 5 California-based Bed Bath Shops, 7 in New York City and 1 in New Jersey.
2020: Bed Bath announced it planned to close about 200 of its core banner stores over two yearsIt is part of a wider turnaround plan. Additionally, it is currently renovating locations to eliminate clutter and create brighter signs and brands.
Bed Bath first reported it in fiscal third-quarter results on WednesdayAccording to the retailer, it closed around 170 retail locations so far. It still plans on closing 200 stores by year’s end.
Mark Tritton was the chief executive officer of the company and told analysts the company would explore other closures. Also, it owns the BuyBuy Baby banner. It was a shining spot in the company’s latest quarter when Bath Bath sales slowed.
Tritton stated that “We are undertaking a complete-scale transformation while simultaneously operating a business within a highly unpredictable setting.”
