LONDON, (Reuters) – Kazakhstan is currently in geopolitical play. If the West does not enter the fray, then Russia will make Central Asian republic fall in a kind of restored Soviet Union. A former banker referred to himself as the Kazakh leader in protests against the West.

Mukhtar Abdul Azov, an ex-minister of the Russian government, is currently living in Paris and said that the West should join the fray.

Ablyazov portrayed himself as leader of the protests against the government and claimed that he was constantly consulted about tactics at the ground in Almaty.

He said, “I consider myself the leader of opposition.” . “Everyday, the protesters call and ask me: What should we do?” The protesters are asking me: “What should we do?”
