German exports rise, output falls slightly in November -Breaking

BERLIN (Reuters), Despite persistent supply bottlenecks in the manufacturing sector, German exports grew in December, while industrial output declined slightly. Data were released Friday.

According to the Federal Statistics Office, seasonally adjusted exports increased 1.7% for the second month in succession.

After a slight increase of 5.2% the previous month, imports dropped to 3.3%.

According to Reuters, there was a 0.2% decline in exports and a 1.7% drop in imports.

After a jump of 2.4% in October, industrial output dropped by 0.2%

From 12.4 billion euro the month before, the trade surplus fell to 10.9 milliards euros ($12.32 trillion).
