TOKYO, Reuters – Yusaku Maezawa (a Japanese billionaire) recently returned from a 12 day trip into space. He said that being launched into the cosmos was much safer than riding a rollercoaster, and that it made him more infatuated with Earth.

In December, the 46-year old fashion magnate and collector became the first tourist to the International Space Station for more than ten years. This was preparation for Elon Musk’s SpaceX 2023 trip.

On Friday, he said to reporters that “when you travel into space you become obsessed about the Earth.” It has winds, it has smells and it has seasons.

Maezawa is one of Japan’s most famous public figures. He entertained his followers on social media by showing them how to make zero gravity tea and talking about his need for fresh underwear. Maezawa said that he has never experienced fear from orbit.

“At time of launch, I was able do enjoy the experience,” said he. It was like launching a Shinkansen bullet train (bullet) from the station. The launch was only what I saw when I looked out of the window.

Maezawa will soon be the first passenger in private on a SpaceX lunar trip. He sold Zozo his online fashion company to SoftBank last year.

However, he found other ways to look at the Earth through space. He said it was “100x more beautiful than pictures”.

He stated, “You think of world leaders meeting in space.” He said, “Ofcourse, it’s impossible for me to make this happen. The world would be a much better place if it happened.
