UK house prices rise at fastest rate since July 2007

REUTERS/Henry NichollsLONDON, (Reuters) – The British housing market saw a 9.8% increase in December compared to a year ago. This is the largest annual rise since July 2007. Halifax released monthly data on Friday.
The December increase in house prices was 1.1%, which is the same as November’s.
