Ford hires Audi’s Sander to lead Ford Germany, passenger vehicles Europe -Breaking

REUTERS/Francois LenoirBERLIN (Reuters), – Ford appointed Martin Sander, Europe sales chief at Audi, to a new job in Germany. He will also be responsible for driving European passenger cars.
Effective June 1, the new post will include both the chair position at Ford-Werke GmbH Germany and general manager of passenger vehicles in Europe. The office is based in Cologne.
Sander is a German-born native and is currently based in Ingolstadt. Prior to this, Sander worked as senior vice president of Sales in Europe for Audi.
As announced by Sander at the close of last year, Sander’s predecessors Roeland De Waard and Gunnar Hermann will be retiring.
