LONDON, (Reuters) – Britons can create puddings or plant trees for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee. These events are to commemorate her 70th year on the throne and culminate in a weekend of “blockbuster celebrations” in June.

With four days of celebrations planned by the government, she will mark her Platinum Jubilee, which is the 95-year-old monarch who has been in power for the longest time in British history.

Buckingham Palace announced that Britons over 8 were welcome to enter a contest to create the perfect Platinum Pudding recipe. Those who win could also be eligible to “plant an apple for the Jubilee.”
