U.S. charges New York man with threatening to kill Donald Trump -Breaking

A criminal complaint was unsealed Monday. Thomas Welnicki of Rockaway Beach, New York expressed interest in the murder of Donald Trump during a July 2020 interview at U.S. Capitol Police as well as several calls to Secret Service in 2021.
In the Brooklyn federal court complaint, Trump was identified as Individual-1. One footnote states that Individual-1 was the U.S. president between Jan. 20, 2017 and Jan. 20, 2021.
Welnicki received an arrest warrant on Friday. A request to comment was not answered by his lawyer immediately. Brooklyn U.S. attorneys office did not immediately respond to the request.
