Luxury Cognac Brand Hennessy Goes Crypto and Releases 250 NFTs

French distillery Hennessy has partnered with luxury liquor NFT seller BlockBar to release its first ‘Hennessy 8′ NFT, valued at approximately 72 ETH, or around $226,450 USD. Tuesday, January 12th at 9:30 AM EST will see the opening of this sale. 250 NFT units are available for purchase. There will be special NFTs in the final and first bottles.

Hennessy 8 celebrates the legacy of Maison Hennessy’s 250 year-old Maison Hennessy. The bottle is a masterpiece artwork designed by Arik Lévy.

BlockBar allows you to purchase an NFT and redeem it for the physical bottle. It is possible to redeem the NFT for a physical bottle via BlockBar. One bottle can be exchanged for another, but the NFT cannot be reversed.
