NBA Players Want Bitcoin Part of Their Salary

The cryptocurrency payment is being used to partially pay US players, Klay Thompson (Golden States Warriors) and Andre Iguodala (US basketball). On Twitter, the NBA’s stars revealed their salary plans (NYSE:) and said that part of it would be paid in cryptocurrency.

CashApp is a Bitcoin payment platform that the NBA stars promoted and offered a $1M prize to their fans. To participate in the draw, users simple need to write #PaidInBitcoin in the comments and follow CashApp’s Twitter account.

Odell Beckham Jr. recently revealed that he prefers to receive all of his salary in Bitcoin.
