Biden says ‘price increases still too high’ -Breaking

(Reuters). Despite acknowledging that price hikes are still too high for his administration, President Joe Biden said Wednesday that there had been progress in slowing them down.

After U.S. consumer prices rose solidly in December and culminated in the highest annual inflation increase in almost four decades, the White House issued his statement.

“We’re making some progress on reducing the pace of price growth. Biden stated that while we are making progress, the report shows that there is still much to be done. “Price increases remain too high, causing family budgets to shrink,” Biden noted.
