BOJ’s Kuroda says inflation likely to gradually accelerate -Breaking

TOKYO (Reuters), Haruhikokuroda, Bank of Japan Governor, stated Wednesday that consumers will experience an increasing rate of inflation due to rising energy costs and increased demand due to a moderate economic recovery.

Kuroda spoke at the quarterly meeting of regional branch managers of the central bank, saying that Japan’s economy has been showing some signs of recovery. However, it is still in crisis due to the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic.
